She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Harold and Effie Cooper Smith; her husband Marvin Adkins; and her sister Roxie Little. She is survived by: her daughters, Faye Huddleston (Robert), Brenda Shankle (Morris) and Debby Marks (Roger); her stepdaughter Polly Hasting (John); her grandchildren, Steve Greene, Nicole Taylor (Ryan), Kelly Harper (Chase), Dawn Mason (Ritchie) and Nathan Marks (Madison); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Charleigh Harper and Mackenzie Haynes (Chandler); her great great grandchild Kingsley Haynes; and her brother Elzie Smith (Nancy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
