He was predeceased by: his parents, Eston Veal and Cora Veal; and his brother Billy Edward Veal. He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Veal; his children, Kenneth Paul Veal and Maria Lee Vazquez (Alberto); his brother Hershel Lee Veal; his grandchildren, Christopher Veal (Nicole Rogers), Robert Riggins, Timothy Riggins (Corie Harper), Angela Stubbs (Joshua), Crystal Snyder, Leonardo Santana (Yesenia) and Maria Gibbons; his great grandchildren, Sage, Lauren, Luke Veal, Landon Riggins, Olivia Tyre, Spencer, Charlotte Stubbs, Nelly, Roxanna, Michelle and Leonardo Jr. Santana; and his sister-in-law Myrtle Veal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
