In loving memory of June Sowell of Lebanon, Tennessee, who departed this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 88. June leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Partlow and Violet Partlow; her husband Charles Sowell; and her sister Jeanne Partlow Alsup. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Morgan (Guy) and Janet Darden (Don); her grandchildren, Chris Morgan (Kat), Katie Haywood (Matthew) and Taylor Darden (Morgan); her great grandchild Max; her niece Amy Barrow (Scott); her nephew Dallas Bass; and her stepgrandsons, Richie Morgan and Joey Morgan (Brooke). She is also survived by seven step-great grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hermitage United Methodist Church (205 Belinda Dr, Hermitage, TN 37076).
