It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Puryear of Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Puryear and Josie Puryear; his brother John Richard Puryear; and his grandparents, Irby, Inez Thorne, Joseph Richard and Mary Lou Puryear.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Phillips (Givens), Joe Puryear and Lucas Puryear (Kristin); his siblings, Don Puryear, Kip Puryear (Patty) and Wanda Huffines; and his grandchildren, Ayden, Eli, Sarah, Harper, Max and Rosie.
