With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Garland in Lebanon, Tennessee, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Smith Garland and Paul Phillip Garland. He is survived by: his wife Emily Sadler Garland; his children, Gregory Garland (Ashley Creviston) and Lindsey Garland (Robert Bryan); his grandson Corey Garland; his siblings, Paula Kovar and Lynford Garland (Patricia); and his pets, Rusko and Ellie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
