He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Dillard and Mary Robinson Dillard; and his brothers, James (Iris Dillard) and Kenneth (Barbara Dillard). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hunter Dillard; his children, Sherry Bryant (James), Christy Thompson (Mark), Terri Breeden (Brian) and Joe Dillard Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Tiffany Thompson, Tatum Tyler (Remington), Rachel Bryant, Emily Bryant, McKenzie Wimmer (Trevor), Molly Dillard and Matthew Dillard; and his great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Rhett and Riggs Tyler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
