He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wright Sr. and Johnnie Mai Wright; his brother Frankie Donnell Wright; and his daughter Kemya Lovvorn. He is survived by: his wife Velvet Wright; his children, Richie Wright, Jimmy "JimJim" Wright (Melissa), Temya Ezell and Wendy Wright; his grandchildren, Stevie Ezell, Alex Jones (John), Paige Wright and Shelby Ragland (Mark); his great grandchildren, McKensie, Landree, Avery and Parker; his nephew Steve Wright (Ellen); and his cousin Darlene Wiley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Empower Me Center.
