He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Ward and Mary Lou Drennon Buhler; his sister Shirley Comer; and his son-in-law Dwayne Harel. He is survived by: his wife Ella Marie Ward; his children, Lorrie Harel and Randy Ward (Kim); his grandchildren, Hope Denney (Roy), Matthew Ward (Kacee), Jessica Stites (Patrick), Austin Ward (Allison) and Joseph Ward (Addy); his great grandchildren, Heath Denney, Waverley Denney, Carlee Ward, Saydee Ward, Nate Stites, Zane Stites, Hollee Ward, Rosie Ward and June Ward; and his siblings, Charlene West (Jack) and Jerry Ward (Carolyn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Barrett Family Cemetery (9740 Murfreesboro Rd, Lebanon, TN 37090).
