He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hayward Gray and Irene Foutch Gray. He is survived by: his wife Robbie Lain Gray; his children, Pam Hardin (Mike) and Terry Gray (Glenda); his grandchildren, Deanna Rogers (Troy), Alan Hardin (Rachel), Joey Hardin (Jennifer), Jake Gray (Jessica), Logan Gray and Alex Young (Preston); his great grandchildren, Chase Birdwell, Rylee, Reese, Ralyn Rogers, Alli, Noah Hardin, Andrew, Anna Kate Hardin, Tate, Gabe Gray and Augie Young; and his sisters, Lou Stone (Julian) and Jean Stockton (Conway). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
