He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollye Thacker Addison and Edward Lee Addison; his children, Tammy Addison and Gary Lee Addison; his sisters, Betty Lou Carrier and Freda Addison; and his nephew Steve Halsey.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Cook Addison; his children, Herschel Lee Addison Jr., Stephanie Todd and Hollye Addison; his grandchildren, Alaina Grace Todd and Emelia Quinn Roberts; his siblings, Debbie Seal (Vernon) and Beverly Bien; and his cousin Dan Thacker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
