He was predeceased by: his father Julian Hal Johnson; his daughter Cathy Beadle; and his mother Virginia Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bowen Johnson; his children, Jeff Johnson (Renda) and Jennifer West (Bob); his grandchildren, Derrick Johnson (Ashley) and Kayla Richardson (James); his siblings, Don Johnson, Brenda Lenning, Robin Johnson (Lydia) and Howard; and his sister-in-law Linda Hopkins. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
