She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gilmore and Edna Massey Gilmore; and her brother Glenn Gilmore. She is survived by: her husband Rod Purkett; her children, Anthony Ford (Teresa) and Connie Ford Hitt (Jay); her grandchildren, Chase Ford, Kenley Ford, Riley Grace Ford, Jaycie Hitt, Cody Hitt and Caden Hitt; her stepsons, Mark Purkett (Jenn) and Timothy Purkett; her stepgrandson Cruz Purkett; and her sister Judy Johnson (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
