She was predeceased by: her parents, Ennis M. Forehand and Gladdis Turner Forehand; and her sisters, Mary Givens and Nell Fisher. She is survived by: her children, Janet Welty Floyd and Kevin Tharp Welty (Dianna); her grandchildren, Jason Floyd, Jeremy Floyd and Jennifer Floyd Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Addison Floyd; and her sister Joyce Binkley.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to New Leash on Life.
