She is survived by: her husband Robert Wayne Bates; her daughter Terry Merritt (Steve); her sisters, Darlene Bates (Paul) and Gail Smith; her grandchildren, Del Merritt, Holly Hepburn (Dustin), Stephanie Neal (George), Brandon Burnette (Rachel) and Brittany Brown; her great grandchildren, Aurora, Helen Neal, Jamison and Winnie McVey; and her close friends, Gloria Lemmons and Jean Merkle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
