It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dot Hancock (Lebanon, Tennessee), born in Rutherford, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyte McGregor and Pauline Nickens McGregor; her brother Henry; and her sister-in-law Gayle McGregor. She is survived by: her husband John Hancock; her children, Rodney King (Gina), John Hancock (Monette) and Jennifer Fountain (Brian); her grandchildren, Andrew King (Elizabeth), Philip King (Allie), John B. Hancock, Elijah Hancock, Natalie Fountain and Brice Fountain; and her siblings, Grace Robinson (Terry), Jerry and Danny McGregor. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions may be made in her memory to Sherry's Hope.
