She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hackney and Beulah Mae Hackney; her husband David Waters; and her siblings, Mildred Webb, Hazel Stewart, Shirley McKee and Charles Hackney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Waters Loftin and Kathy Waters Foster (Stephen); her siblings, Katherine Stanton and Pete Hackney; her grandchildren, Jason Willliams (Tommy), David Foster (Colynn), Zach Foster (Sherida) and Rebecca Foster-Young (Djacob); her great grandchildren, Eric Williams and Sweetpea Wi; and also Tara.
