She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lillard Massey Sr. and Myra Cutrell Massey; her husband Leslie Ray Owens; her great grandchild Noah Gabriel Owens; her siblings, Edna Earl Hesson, Katherine Woodard, Kenneth, James and George Lillard Massey, Jr.; her stepmother Bertha Massey; and her half-sister Rose Marie Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale Owens (Marty) and James T. Owens (Brenda); her grandchildren, Sean Owens (Anita), J. B. Owens (Bethany), Scot Owens (Skylyn) and Jill Fariss (Chris); her great grandchildren, Anna, Audrey, Alex, Camille Owens, Kenidy and Emery Fariss; her brother Gene Massey; and her half-sister Betty Estes (Joe).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
