She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Mae Clark and Joseph Edward Clark; and her nephew Dougie Bates. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Carey; her daughters, Danelle Rich (Chase), Kayla Carey and Cassidy Carey; her granddaughter Emersyn Mae Brown; her nephew Joey Bates; her friend Joyce Hinson; and her pets, Bonnie and Teddy.
