He was predeceased by: his parent Lelai Mai Beal Dickens; his wife Bobbie Dickens; his son-in-law James Steven "PeeWee" Leduc; his parent W. A. Dickens; and his siblings, James, Wesley, John, Bobby Gene and Mai Denny.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Neal Jr., Teresa Leduc and Rachel Dickens Mathis; his grandchildren, Jordan Swindell, Brianna Taylor, Austin Neal (Ambriele), Dylan Neal and Kelsey Leduc; his great grandchildren, Lilly Neal and Peyton Swindell; and his sister Dorothy Brewer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sellars Funeral Home (313 W Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (Tuckers Crossroads, TN 37087).
