He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Loren Gordon and Nadine Jennings Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Truitt Gordon; his children, Shannon Gordon, Steve Gordon (Pam) and Marcie Kasic (Danny); his grandchildren, Landon Gordon, Alex Dozier (Laura), Ethan Gordon, Eva Mae Gordon, Kara Webster and Lauren Webster; his great grandchildren, James Nelson Dozier and Novah Webster; and his siblings, Judy Ritchie (George) and Steven Gordon (Pam).

Memorials may be made to the Gideons or to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
