She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Mills Gensler and Glenn Gensler; her husband A. C. Denson; and her sisters, Linda Trieschock and Cheri Gensler.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Spano; her stepdaughter Dianna Welty (Kevin); and her siblings, Kathleen Spencer, Susie Winters, Tami Munson, Daniel Gensler and Timothy Gensler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
