She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Estes Davis and Annie Mae Ratledge Davis; her son David Raymond Hardin; her former husband Willie Raymond Hardin; her husband Wendell Clay Chaffin; her siblings, Hub Spencer Davis, John Woodrow Davis, Joe B. Davis, Cleonia Bell Davis Ashworth, Lillian Davis Simms and Martha Davis Amos; her niece Darlene Ashworth; and her nephews, Harold Paul Ashworth Jr., Calvin Raymond Ashworth and Phillip Davis.
She is survived by: her sister Lucille Ballard-Ross; her nieces and nephews, Randy Ballard, Roy, Larry, Joe, Billy Davis, Tommy Ballard, Carolyn Cole, Terry Grey, Sandra Ballard, Kim Simmons and Wendy Scott; and her close friends, Linda Flippen, Terry Swann, Gail, Jackie and Tyler Barrett.
