She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Jones and Mamie Jones; her husband Al Carter; and her siblings, James Jones and Ruth Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Carter Smallwood and Chip Carter (Amanda); and her grandchildren, Matt and Abby Smallwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Westland United Methodist Church (110 Dawson Ln, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
