She was predeceased by: her parents, Henretta Phelps and Weakley Phelps; her husband Elwood Burks; her siblings, Weakley Phelps, Earl Phelps, Dean Phelps, Jesse Phelps, Dorothy Phelps, Elizabeth Higgins Crabtree and Virginia Erskind; and her granddaughter April Arbuckle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Arbuckle (Sonny) and Sherry Klein (late Jerry); her siblings, Linda Bass, Carl Phelps (Marie), Mark Phelps (Jean) and Neal Phelps (Theresa); her grandchildren, Nathan Arbuckle, Trey (Angela Hunter) and Chantel (Rob Gibson); and her great grandchildren, Sabryn Gibson, Samuel Hunter, Josiah Hunter (Alexa), Kristina Hunter, Daniel Hunter, Elijah Hunter, Eva Hunter, Ezra Hunter, Joshua Hunter and Kinsley Eskew. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
