With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Young Denney of Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on July 20, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Horace Young and Vallie Irene Winfree Young; her grandparents, Sam Ditty Young, Virginia Frances "Jennie" Waller Young, Herschel and Ella Rittenberry Winfree; and her sister Barbara Ann Young Harville.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Denney (Julie) of Cookeville, Rachel Denney of Cookeville, Sarah Denney Baines (Tony Yancy) of Lebanon and Paden Bain of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Ava Baines (Bryce Booth), Parker Baines, Mary Helen Bastian and Sarah Beth Bastian; her son Kenneth Harville of South Carthage; and her uncle Lester Young (Katie) of Sparta.
The Denney family requests memorials to the Gordonsville United Methodist Church.
