She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa Schumacher and John Welk; her husband Jim Deffendall; and her siblings, Alex Welk, Gene Welk, Bennie Welk, Margaret Schramm and Theresa Wexler.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Deffendall, Jimmy Caitlan, Mark Deffendall, Joyce Deffendall, Kelly Deffendall and Billy Deffendall; and her sister Bertie Weisgram. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
