He was predeceased by: his siblings, Josephine Russell and Floyd R. Sandy; and his grandson Richard Hutson, Jr. (Bo). He is survived by: his wife Carroll Sandy; his children, Teresa C. Garrett and William K. "Bill" Sandy, Jr. (Paula); and his granddaughters, Brandie Garrett Haberman (Matthew), Brittany King (Trey), Tiffany Granstaff (Justin) and Cortany Kersey (CJ). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
