She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur and Bessie Bell Pennell Carrigan; her husband Francis Justin Desmond; and her siblings, Louise Carrigan Bridges (Ronald), Frederick Carrigan, Francis Carrigan, James Carrigan (Bonnie), Royce Carrigan (Emma) and Theodore Carrigan (Jane).
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Desmond Scott (Faber) of Lawrenceburg, TN; her granddaughters, Jane Adele Scott of Murfreesboro, TN and Tressie Marie Dubois (Grayson) of Antioch, TN; her great grandchild Isaac Dubois of Antioch, TN; and her brother John Carrigan of Washington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
