Sarah Elizabeth Bowden-Threet Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Bowden-Threet of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Elizabeth Bowden-Threet to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morgan and Pearl Pitts; her sisters, Nova Jewel Perry and Jane Morgan Pitts; her former husband W. O. Bowden; and her son-in-law Terry Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Bowden-Jones of Lawrenceburg; her grandson Ben Luna (Sarah) of Lawrenceburg; her stepchildren, Sherry Threet Montgomery of Knoxville, Lisa Threet Snyder (Jim) of Maryville, Tennessee and Philip Threet (Joy) of Parsons, Tennessee.; and her stepgrandchildren, Allie Philpot (Ryan), Laura Long (Wesley), Erin Pearcy (Chance), Kayla Whitehead (TJ), Kelli Fowler (Matt), Katie Naughton (Mat), Joshua Montgomery (Samantha) and Jeremy Montgomery (Holly). She is also survived by Nine step-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill United Methodist Church or the Lawrence County Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
