He is survived by: his family Omer; his wife Joanne (Pothier); his children, Michael Pothier, Russell Pothier, Kathy Medeiros and Kevin Pothier; and his grandchildren, Evan Pothier, Steven Pothier, Mari Brooks (Pothier), Jordan Medeiros, Chase Medeiros, Reis Medeiros, Mason Medeiros, Gabrielle Pothier, Emilie Pothier and Michelle Pothier. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Joslin Diabetes Center of Boston, Massachusetts, and Freedom Guide Dogs in Cassville, NY.
