With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lynn Grimes of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Grimes and Barbara Jean Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Grimes; his children, Lisa Keeton, Christopher Grimes, Shannon Grimes and Timothy Grimes; his grandchildren, Hannah Grimes, Andrew Grimes, Gabriel Grimes, Jonathon Grimes, Kaitlyn Anthony, Alex Appleton, Kyria Keeton, Gillian Keeton and Louis Grimes; his great grandchild Eastyn Haddock; his stepchildren, Casey Curtis and Candace Benson; his stepgrandchildren, Zachariah Keasling, Austin Keasling, Katariina Keasling, Clarence Luallen and Kyra Benson; and his siblings, Stanley Grimes, David Grimes and Patricia Dodson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home (501 W Gaines St, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
