He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne; his parents, Ernest Etta and Mary Etta; his brother Jim; and his grandson Seth.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Comer (Barbara) of Lawrenceburg, Scott Comer (Heather) of Murfreesboro and Kim Comer of Mt. Pleasant; his grandson Kyle Comer (Erin) of Smyrna; his great grandchildren, Kelsie and Katelyn Comer; and his siblings, Robert Comer of Lawrenceburg, Melva Thomas of Lawrenceburg and Keffie Morrow of Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Marcella Falls Church of Christ.
