She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Griffin and Ida Grace Sledge Griffin; her husband Carl Parrish; and her brothers, Raymond Griffin, Norman Griffin and Harlon Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Carsie" Parrish (Alisa) of Huntsville, AL and Kathryn "Katie" Cushman (Lee) of Santa Barbara, CA; her grandchildren, Christi, Sarah, Melanie and Caroline; her great grandchildren, Raylan, Wyatt and Nash; and her sister Kathryn Brown of Birmingham, AL..
Family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
