It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nella Ranee Meadows of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lula Mai Daniels Duke; her sons, David Garton and Harley Garton; her granddaughter Willow Grace Mohammed; and her sisters, Anna Sue Daniels and Clara Cunningham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ashley Hope Manning (Shahid Mohammed) and Tisha Miller (Steve Miller); her grandchildren, Henry Dewayne Manning, Sebastian Miller, Zackary Miller, Timothy Jones, Tommy Jones, Taylor Jones and Nevaeh Garton; her great grandchild Treniti Jones; and her siblings, Bubba Duke, Cecil Duke, Charlie Duke, Lonnie Duke and Nellie McKnight.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Eastland Funeral Home (904 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Eastland Funeral Home (904 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206).
