She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelley Leon and Mary Lacy Pilkinton Collier; her husband John William Shedd, Jr.; her brothers, Leon Collier and Virgil Collier; and also Eddie Ashworth.

She is survived by: her son John Mark Shedd (Sherri) of Mount Juliet, TN; her sister Jo Ogg of Lawrenceburg, TN; her grandchildren, Daniel Shedd (Shannon) of Houston, TX, Kathryn Shedd of Lebanon, TN and Joseph Shedd of Duluth, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Collier and Hester Collier.

Family suggests memorials be made to Highland Park Baptist Church.
