With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jean McCord of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on July 31, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Gower and Lillian Jeter Gower; her husband Virgil McCord; and her brothers, Jimmy Gower, Rex Gower and Ralph Gower.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Brown, Donna Garner (Robert), Randy McCord and Mike McCord (Bernita); and her sister Frances Long of Lawrenceburg, TN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
