She was predeceased by: her husband Odis Elaw Gowen; her sons, Ronnie Steveyn and Richard Blane; her parents, Jasper Newt and Maggie Mae Risner; and her siblings, Dave Risner Sr. of Roy Risner, J. B, Coy Risner, Rosie Ellen Risner, Little Willie Risner, Ethel Risner Rose, Alta Mae Risner Hickman, Ruby Risner Attkisson, Louise Risner Fincher and Lacy Risner Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Gowen Sullivan (Elliott); her grandchildren, Lezli-O'Neal Sullivan Lewis (Jeremy), Elliott H. Sullivan III (Tessa) and Blane Steveyn Sullivan (Brooklyn); and her great grandchildren, Isabelle Anne Lewis, Isaac Aaron Lewis, Ian Alexander Lewis and Zelphia Jade Sullivan. She is also survived by beautiful nieces, nephews, and adopted family.
