He was predeceased by: his parents, A. G. Beckman and Margie McClarin Beckman. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Killen; his children, Michael E. Beckman (Carol), Donna Cunningham Mt, Diana, Deborah Foreman (Bruce) and Tammy Luna (Tommy); and his siblings, James, June and Doris Morris Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by Grandchildren 6-Great Great Grandchildren.
