He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hester and Bertha Mitchell Hester; his wife Gertrude Hester; and his daughter Martha Kay Hester Walters. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Caperton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lucille Britnell and Wayne Hester of Tuscumbia, AL; and also Kayzlee Williams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
