He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell Douglass, Sr. and Mamie Kraus Douglass; and his children, Melissa Victoria Douglass, Joseph Cephas Douglass and Denney Fleming Douglass.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Jane Douglass; his children, Susan Jane Douglass, Joseph Walton Douglass, Jr. and John Mitchell Douglass; and his grandchildren, Robert Joseph Young, Larry Ray Wilburn, Justin Walton Douglass, Eric Michael Mashburn, Christian Douglass, Erica Paige Tidwell, Falon Cozart and Samantha Douglass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
