It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Neven Steel Jr. of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in London, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Neven Steel, Sr. and Cleo Melissa Simmons Steel; his wife Anna Irene Ball Steel; and his brother Billy Steel. He is survived by: his children, Jeanine Burke and Jeffrey Steel; his grandchildren, Anastasia Garza (UBaldo), Nickolas Lukasik, Summer Steel and Nathan Steel; his great grandchildren, Trevor Lukasik, Tyler Lukasik (Morgan), Joseph Lukasik, Rylan Chaffin and Isabella Chaffin; and his cousin Sandy Roberts.
The family suggests memorials be made to American Legion Post 63.
