It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Faye Farris of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Lexington, Alabama, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Herbert and Laura Janet Wisdom Allen; her husband Grady Owen "Tony" Farris; her daughter Debbie Farris Smith; and her brothers, Elton Allen, W. C. Allen and Neal Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Farris (Michelle) and Lynne Redd (Darrell); her sister Janet Brown; her grandchildren, Chris Smith, Misty Avery, Stephanie Brewer, Alex Perry, Tyler Farris and Rachel Griffin; her great grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Lauren Potts, Waylon Owens, Noah Avery, Lucy Avery, Elise Farris, Evelyn Farris, Addison Griffin and Callahan Griffin; and her great great grandchildren, Layton Smith and Collins Potts.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
