He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Southard Owens and Thomas Owens; and his wife Janie Rose Owens. He is survived by: his children, Scott Madison Owens (Amie) and Valerie Jill McLain (Michael); and his grandchildren, Kate Owens, Ella McLain, Andy McLain, Emily Owens and Jase Owens.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Lawrenceburg Public School Library Fund.
