He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Staggs and Lucille May Clark Staggs; his wives, Jeanene McBride and Jeanene Staggs; his sons, Jeremy Staggs (Connie) of Pulaski, Jerrod Staggs (Sherri) of Adamsville, Jayce Staggs of Lawrenceburg and Jerry Junior Staggs (Tameka) of Lawrenceburg; and his sisters, Cherry Brewer and Dorothy Poag of Lawrenceburg. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
