She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Birdie and Pearl Anna Jones Chandler; her husband Roy Powell, Sr.; and her siblings, John Chandler, Lavaughn Chandler, Paul Chandler and Helen Bradley.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael R. Powell of Lawrenceburg, TN and Roy Powell, Jr. (Karen) of Lawrenceburg, TN; her grandchildren, Jill Moore (Brice) of Five Points, TN and Lindsay Powell of Lawrenceburg, TN; her pet Sadie; and her close friend Melinda Goolsby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
