He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Leroy and Ava Estha Buie Tripp; his wife Barbara Ann Darnell Tripp; his grandson Anthony Blake Tripp; his great grandchild Brooklynn Ann Marie Perry; and his siblings, Vera Thigpen, LulaMae Frey, Wilma Brazier, Opal Wilburn, Nina Sue Tripp, Robert Tripp, Roy Tripp, Vernon Odell Tripp and John Harvey Tripp.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Kennemer (Mike) of Lawrenceburg, Melissa Tripp of Lawrenceburg, Monica Covington (Ricky) of Lawrenceburg and Christopher "Buddy" Tripp (Venisia) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Ashley Kennemer, Tamera Anderson, Dominick Goodrich, Jarrett Tripp and Terry Perry; and his sister Wynell Tripp Hood (Loyd) of Columbia. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
