With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Grant Wood of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, born in Costa Mesa, California, who passed away on August 3, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan James and Hollis Irene Graves Wood; and his siblings, Leaza Lanene Wood and Jack Wood. He is survived by: his wife Rita Morgan Wood; his children, Michele Wood of Vacaville, CA, Katharine (Jake) and Cynthia Crook-Walker of Pelham, NC; his sister Harla Wood of Cypress, CA; and his stepchildren, Paul Highfill (Grace) of Thompson Station, TN and Cindy Valade (Nick) of Spring Hill, TN. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
The family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
