He is survived by: his children, Patti Nelson (Alvin), Tommy Story (Diane), Donny Story (Terri) and Christy Willis (S. Q. "ChooChoo"); his adoptive daughter Barbara Wideman Garland; and his grandchildren, Tim Nelson, Susie Davis, Keisha Story Katevas, Tippi Story, Aaron Story, Kacy Story, Brock Willis and Blair Willis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
