He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bonner Dorning; and his children, Chad Dorning (Tracy), Kyle Duke (Lynn) of Lawrenceburg, Carole Dorning Collins of Decatur and Kim Pennington of Franklin, Tennessee. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
