He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruel Goode and Cora Johns Goode; his wife Naola "Nell" Maureen McCormick Goode; and his brothers, Fred Goode, Joseph Goode, Sr. and James Goode.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Goode (Karen) of Loretto, Deborah McEwen (Larry) of Knoxville, Melinda Miller (Rick) of Culleoka and Sandra Lynch (Tim Zuelke) of Florence, AL.; his grandchildren, Isaac Goode, John Goode, Derek McEwen (Nanako), Jessica Scarbrough (Vaughn), Leah Bodenhamer (Robert), Chase Gifford, Chelsea Gifford (Zack Morrow), Cody Miller, Jessie Stein (Jon), Amber Wammack (Tyler Preston) and Sydney Callahan; and his great grandchildren, Yuki, Kotoko McEwen, Ezri, Phoenix, Soleia Scarbrough, Charlotte Gifford, Jaston, Oakley Morrow, Parker Miller, Tucker, Chesney and Laikyn Stein.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
